Holiday Retail 2010
The economic recession had a severe impact on the retail industry, making the ever-critical holiday season even more important in 2010. I spearheaded the newsdesk’s coverage this year, working to plan stories for important dates (Black Friday, Cyber Monday). I coordinated segments with several major retailers during this hectic period, including these two below.
Traditional catalog retailer, L.L. Bean, found more of its sales now come through online orders. I field produced for Reporter Brian Shactman at L.L. Bean’s flagship store in Freeport, ME.
