Al Jazeera America

I joined the startup team that launched Al Jazeera America about a month before the network went on the air. I worked for several months as a freelance producer for “Real Money with Ali Velshi.” In this role, I compiled daily news packages and long-form, magazine-style pieces. I also wrote posts and articles to bring these stories to the web.

Fashion Shoot

A friend at Instinct Magazine asked me to make a video of his fashion shoot for the April/May 2013 issue. The result is a departure from my usual video journalist style, but I got to exercise some different creative muscles and put a few fancy edit wipes to work. I produced, shot and edited this piece.
